"All we see are appearances", Xenophone says and picks himself
an orange (which "is" not orange, because it reflects orange).
Since we have found out in the meantime that time and space
are relative to our perception it has become unclear whether an
"orange" exists as an object at all and whether it detaches itself
from the "rest" of the world.
Like an ant man seeks to perceive the world with his limited senses
and by necessity he bases his knowledge on the misunderstandings
of a larger world around him. He nevertheless finds an amazing
collective order in human society, similar to bee hives or other insects.
